2 Keepers,3 Shorts Not So Good.Had Shortened up Lines,Didn't do so well with that. Real Slow Yr. for me. To Top It off I Have not Seen A Fish Break the Water @ The Ditch Since Spring.

Hang in there wayne.....you still got a lobster dinner.....How many traps are you fishing??....I catch all my bass on the bottom with bait.......

I'm Fishing 6 Traps Thats all I can do,I,m slow at It ,By Choice,They call me the Tinkerer. Take my time go easy,When The Tides Let Me.I'm Thinking I'm In a Tough Area for High Catch #'s. Thats OK I like It & Don't want to move.
Year to year they come & they Go. I will hold my Ground.

wayne that area as we know does ok not great ,i have one trap in that area that does great but just that one ,i think deeper water is better , but if i was catchin more than i am rite now they would go to waste , i almost gave up on it all this year cuz it is alot of work for short numbers , and i might pull my gear out this winter ,but as of now enjoying some good lobster.

i pulled my gear yesterday did very well one trap was open and left out of the water , but all and all a good day ,, did a little fishing , sandwich beach , nothing , but a great day !

Pulled AM Tide Sun.1:30 PM Hard Tide To Pull About 2-3' Higher Than Normal,& Alot Of Boats. 2 Keepers ,4 Shorts ,1 Egger. Alot Of Work! Got 2 Short Stripers Before I Pulled,Thats some Of the Good News.

tide realy sucked did ok , and thank you wayne for that loby he was very tasty,,,picked up a new rod when i left you that day and was back down there till 9 pm trying it out.

I checked gear this past weekend....kudo's on the tide....I could not reach my last 2 traps..........9 keepers.....lobster salad for lunch today.........

nice rob here also could not get my last trap , another new guy between wayne and i , looks like he set at high tide

come on boys lets get those reports in ,,, dont let the site die.. we need somthing come winter to get us thruuuuu ....

I have not checked my gear in a couple of weeks.......kinda off lobbies right now.....planning on having lobster for the first pats game coming up.....I am fishing in the fisherman fund derby this year so chuck if you see pogies in duxbury please give me a heads up.......

I Got 3 4 Bags of Poggies & couple Bags of Herring from my Neighbor,He is Buying them In Gloucester,Cheap money. Real Cheap for me,I just Grab a Few Bags for Free!!! I Signed up For That Tourny Also Rob.

I've been catching fresh squid for the last 6 weeks......fantastic hook baits but the only drawback is you have to catch the squid at night.....when I want to be hitting the beach for bass.....so any pogies I could snag in the day hours would be great........

Going to Pull Sun.9/9/12,Hope to see a good catch,traps full of different bait. If not may need to think about what I am doing,Alot of work for Nothing.

gona look for new ground this year ,,, got a buddy who lives in hull on the boston harbor side and i gave him a trap to set out in front of his house in the surf ,, any tips on this type of trapping ,, it is very rocky were he intends to put trap ..any help would be great he has no boat but he wants to give it a try!

well, he's gotta get the trap out beyond the surf line.....does he have a pole of any type?

well my buddy set his trap last week , had some issues withthe surf , but after buying wadders and useing a float pole he has some success ,, he is getting these great salmon heads from some asian guy so he stuffed his bags full , he managed 4 keepers in first pull one trap ,, now he,s got the bug he wants to set a few more so , it can be done without a boat , and a little hard work ....

Sounds good chuck.......I checked my gear yesterday for the first time in almost a month. I still managed 8 keepers as well a 2 flounder and a nice tautog.......I am having the flatties for dinner tonight......
